The Paddyfest Ambassador Competition has been a tradition for 40 years. Before we knew the competition as the Paddyfest Ambassador Competition, it was first called “The Miss Paddyfest Pageant”. The change to the competition name was because some males were interested in the run for the title. In the early years, it was not such a big production, but there have always been three judges, a talent, and a speech portion. The impromptu question, the group skit and the interview with the judges before the competition were added about 20 years ago. There has always been company to the Paddyfest contestants for the competition day which were the Junior Ambassadors, which are usually Kin Club family members and Ushers, people of the community. But the basic idea has remained much the same over the years, the Paddyfest Ambassador kissing Mr. Paddy and a competition to choose someone to be a goodwill ambassador representing Kin!
Child (12 and under): $2.00
Doors open at 12:30 pm and competition starts at 1 pm.
